Cleveland Clinic Coordinating Center for Clinical Research is Cleveland Clinic's Academic Research Organization (ARO) providing academic focus and leadership to the design, planning and management of clinical trials. Founded in 1991, our mission is to design and conduct innovative clinical research that enhances scientific knowledge and positively impacts the care of patients. For more than 30 years, we have conducted hundreds of clinical trials investigating new Thrombolytic Therapies, Lipid Management Therapies, Valve Replacement Therapies and COVID-19 Treatments.

The C5Research team is comprised of experienced and dedicated physicians, nurses, technologists and support staff within the Heart, Vascular and Thoracic Institute of Cleveland Clinic providing academic leadership and coordination for trials ranging in size from less than 50 to more than 24,000 patients.
